The Nagambie Lakes Region takes in the area of Graytown, Whroo, Nagambie, Longwood, Mangalore, Goulburn Weir, a large section of the Goulburn Valley, Reedy Lake and Lake Nagambie. Attractions to the area include old mining locations such as Whroo, of course the wineries, scenic drives, mountains and forests.
The district is a 'Mecca' for sports people interested in water skiing, fishing, rowing, canoeing and sailing.
That's just on the water. The district is also a favourite with balloonists, sky-divers, flyers, gliders and car racing enthusiasts.
